When you’re tired and don’t feel like coming up with a meal at home, take the whole gang out to one of the family restaurants here in Wolf Point, MT. We’ve put together a list of some of our favorites to help get you started.
1. Sherman Inn Restaurant
Come here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For the first meal of the day, enjoy a breakfast burrito, the Sherman griddle, biscuits and gravy, the chicken-fried steak, a breakfast pizza, or the veggie omelet. The kids will enjoy the pancakes, the French toast, or the Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
For lunch or dinner, start out with the chicken wings, which are always a hit with the kiddos. We also recommend the supreme nachos for the table. For the main course, have the chicken carbonara, the Cajun shrimp alfredo, or the veggie pesto. They are located at 200 E. Main St. and they are open Monday through Friday.
2. Old Town Grill
This establishment, located at 400 U.S. Rt. 2, is open for all three meals of the day. We like to have lunch here for their crispy chicken sandwich, the Southwest Philly steak, the club sandwich, the pizza burger, the California burger, or the fish sandwich. They also have good Mexican meals, like the beef enchilada, a smothered burrito, a soft-shell taco, and a taco salad.
The kids can choose from a corn dog, pizza pocket, nuggets, chicken strip basket, cod basket, or soup and half a sandwich. Be sure to add an order of homemade ice cream before you leave. They are open seven days a week.
3. China City
When you crave good Chinese cuisine, stop by China City, which is open for dine-in or takeout. They serve traditional favorites, such as egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, egg foo young, fried rice, Mongolian beef, broccoli chicken, sweet and sour prawns, Kung Pao chicken, sweet and sour pork, and more. We suggest a combination plate, which comes with a main course, egg rolls, and fried rice.
You can also come here for the lunch buffet between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. seven days a week. Kids ages 1 to 3 eat for $5; kids 4 to 8 eat for $7; and kids 9 and older eat for $9. China City is located at 220 Main St.
