The visitor center on the grounds here will tell you all the information you need to know about the surrounding area, making it a good first stop for your visit.
6. Flathead Lake State Park
Bring your pets to this dog-friendly park and let your whole family enjoy your day out, two-legged and four-legged members of the crew alike. You can also bring kayaks along with you and go out on the water for another way to enjoy your excursion at Flathead Lake State Park.
7. Pirogue Island State Park
See beautiful sights of the Yellowstone River at Pirogue Island State Park, with plenty of walking trails that run through the grounds here. The banks of the river also make the ideal location for you to have an open-air picnic, so bring along some grub and enjoy your meal with some fresh air.
