2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The Laredo is the entry-level Jeep Grand Cherokee. It comes with 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, heated side exterior mirrors, and roof rails. Step up to the Limited for LED fog lights, 18-inch wheels, and a power liftgate, or choose the Altitude for 20-inch gloss black wheels and other gloss black exterior accents. The upscale Overland trim has 20-inch fully polished aluminum wheels, a hands-free liftgate, a panoramic sunroof, and an auto-dimming driver's side mirror. To top it all off, the Summit has a gloss black roof, and the Summit Reserve has 21-inch polished aluminum wheels.

The base engine for the Grand Cherokee is a 3.6-liter V-6 that puts out 293 horsepower. A 5.7-liter V-8 is available as an option for certain trims and gets you 357 horsepower. If you prefer a hybrid powertrain, the Grand Cherokee offers a 2.0-liter four-cylinder plug-in hybrid that generates 375 horsepower.

The ride on the road in the Grand Cherokee is smooth. The suspension does an excellent job of keeping it connected to the road, and there's not much body roll when taking tight corners. The available Quadra-Lift air suspension makes the ride even smoother and makes it more capable when driving over rough terrain.

There's room for up to five people in the Grand Cherokee, and this SUV has one of the nicest cabins in its class. All trims except the base have leather upholstery, and you can get convenience features such as driver's seat memory settings, heated front and rear seats, ventilated front seats, and power-adjustable front seats. A power-adjustable steering wheel is available, and you can also get four-zone automatic climate control and massaging front seats in the Overland and Summit models. Technology features start with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, six USB ports, and a six-speaker stereo. A 10.1-inch touchscreen comes with the Entertainment Group Package, which also adds navigation and a nine-speaker Alpine stereo. A 10.25-inch passenger touchscreen is also available as an option, and you can add a rear-seat entertainment system.

Every 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee comes with advanced driver aids. These include adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitoring system with rear cross-traffic alert, and forward collision warning with mitigation. It also comes standard with rear parking sensors. The Lux Tech Group Package adds front parking sensors with automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and front cross-traffic alert. Another optional feature you can add on is Night Vision, which helps you see people and animals at night using infrared sensors and thermographic technology.
