2022 RAM 2500

The 2022 Ram 2500 is available in six trims: Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Power Wagon, Limited Longhorn, and Limited. The Tradesman rolls down the road on 17-inch steel wheels. On the Big Horn/Lone Star, you get heated outside mirrors and 18-inch chrome steel wheels. Moving up to the Laramie adds power-folding side mirrors, a power-sliding rear window with defroster, a dampened tailgate, and LED fog lights. The Limited Longhorn features a spray-in bedliner, remote tailgate release, LED bed lighting, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. In addition, you get power-deployable running boards, adjustable tie-down hooks, RamBox in-bed storage bins on the short bed, and 20-inch wheels on the Limited.

You can choose between a traditional gas-powered or diesel engine on the 2022 Ram 2500. The standard engine is a 6.4-liter V-8 that delivers 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. An available turbocharged 6.7-liter V-6 diesel engine produces 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard, with a six-speed automatic transmission available.

The 2022 Ram 2500 features many performance-enhancing features. Rear-wheel drive is standard on all trims but the Power Wagon. The Power Wagon has all-wheel drive as a standard feature, whereas the AWD is available on all other trims. Rear-locking differentials improve the off-road performance of the Power Wagon. With a towing capacity of between 17,540 and 20,000 pounds, you can easily take the trailer to the work site or the camper to the woods.

When you enter the 2022 Ram 2500, you'll discover an interior built for form and function. The Tradesman features vinyl upholstery, a front bench seat, two USB ports, a six-speaker sound system, and a 5-inch touch-screen infotainment system. Moving up to the Big Horn/Lone Star adds power windows and locks, a cloth bench seat, and an 8.4-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Laramie has dual-zone automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, power-adjustable and heated front seats, and a nine-speaker sound system. The Limited Longhorn adds ambient interior lighting, premium leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, driver's seat memory settings, and an integrated navigation system. Finally, the Limited upgrades you with wireless charging and a 12-inch touch screen.
