2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee comes in seven different trims. These include the base Grand Cherokee Laredo, with several exterior colors, like black, white, and brown. Upgrading to the Grand Cherokee Altitude adds extra exterior elements like heated mirrors and automatic headlights. The Grand Cherokee Limited and the while the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk include more attractive and powerful lights. The upgraded Grand Cherokee Overland, Grand Cherokee Summit, and the Grand Cherokee Summit all include advanced features and amenities, like better HVAC control.

Each 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee model comes with a 3.6L V6 24V VVT Engine w/ESS, which is the standard engine for the model. The Trailhawk and Summit Reserve have optional 5.7L V8 HEMI MDS VVT Engine engines. Likewise, each trim comes with a standard 8-Speed Automatic 850RE Transmission, with the Trailhawk and the Summit Reserve having an optional 8-Speed Automatic 8HP75 Transmission. All but two 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee models include a front-wheel-drive system, with the Trailhawk and Summit reserve using a four-wheel drive with an electric limited-slip differential on the rear axles and conventional differential axles with disconnect on the front. This extra control power allows for off-road driving that the quadra-lift air suspension and rear load-leveling suspension models help improve. The rugged 265/60R18 BSW A/S All-Terrain Tires help Trailhawk and Summit Reserve get superior off-road traction, while the 265/50R20 BSW All-Season LRR tires work well for the front-wheel-drive models.

The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee can comfortably seat six passengers in multiple seat rows on either Nappa leather or Capri leather and suede seats. Each seat includes four-way headrests and driver seat memory that lets you program specific comfort positions. The rear 60/40 folding seat helps improve vehicle storage capacity, allowing for up to 68.3 cubic feet with the seats loaded and about 36.3 cubic feet when upright. That amount provides more than enough room for luggage storage or for beach trips. The dual-zone or four-zone temperature control helps make each ride more comfortable.
